George Winston Welch Prize

Established in 1928 to be given to the valedictorian of each senior class, who was to be chosen on the basis of having made the best academic record of their four years at Centre. The prize was given by Mrs. George W. Welch in memory of George W. Welch, a member of the Centre College Board of Trustees for over thirty years.
