Friend Boyle [John Boyle]

Your letter was received this evening. Very glad to hear from you, wish you had not been so brief. Am much obliged for the despatch exhibited in sending the constitution. We already have ten or twelve members. Will have no difficulty in raising a fine club. You will confer a favor by sending the form of the charter in order that we may procure one. I also wish to have some

information from the Gr. Mod [Grand Moderator] of the C.C. [Centre College] Chapter concerning the club at Lexington also of the one in Virginia if existing there. I would not trouble you if I knew who was the Gr. Mod. Although I would be glad to hear from you irrespective of that. By exertion we can spread our chapters. I am sorry to hear of Wades affliction as it deprives me of his letters, otherwise of course!! it would not affect me. My love to friends of the male sex.

Yours sincerely
