[Note: John Green and Joseph McDowell were members of Centre's Board of Trustees who were appointed to collect the funds subscribed to the college. David G. Cowan was the treasurer of the Board, essentially the college's financial officer.]

The committee appointed to report the situation of the funds of the Institution have performed that duty and beg leave to make the following report, viz.
