Schedule Committee instructed to look after the schedule for the next college year, 1910-11.
Professor Smith reported some positive results in connection with certain irregularity by three (3) boys in his 1st year work; and two (2) in the second year work. The irregularities were noticed in the examination papers of the Fall Term. The committee on Conferences was asked to take up the honor system with the representative of the various classes. Faculty Meeting, February 3, 1910

The meeting was called for the purpose of considering the preliminary report of the Committee on Accredited Schools (of Kentucky), (copy from Professor Miller, State University, Chairman.)
With slight alterations each professor approved the statements and authorized Professor Crooks to look after our interests in the forthcoming meeting of the committee in Lexington. (Copy of the rules as passed will be found on later pages of these records)
Agreed that Breathitt not be permitted to take up Public Speaking instead of Latin.
An adjustment of hours for mathematics for another year was agreed upon, giving five hours for the freshman work, throughout the year.
Several matters were discussed informally. Amongst them was the "ONE HOUR PERIOD" matter. For the most part expression were favorable. Adjournment.

Faculty Meeting, March 8, 1910

Scheduled for the Winter examinations and the Spring term ordered.
Matter of the schedule for the year 1910-11 was discussed the following privileges granted the committee:- To schedule a Freshman required subject on a Junior or Senior required or elective;
- To schedule a Sophomore required subject on a Senior required or Elective;
- In case a liberal number of electives members of the Senior class, no student be allow to continue any class, where there may be one conflict;
Seniors with a grade of 80% to be exempt from the final (Spring) examinations. Adjournment.

Faculty Meeting, April 5, 1910

A working draft of the 1910-11 schedule presented Chapel for the new schedule placed at 10:15.
Some minor changes authorized in German and English schedule:
Elementary German, Credit 6 to be changed if possible,
Senior English, Credit 4 to be changed if possible
Schedule accepted by vote of the entire faculty. A committee, consisting of Thomas, Smith and Blayney was appointed by the president, and asked to look into the matter of hours, required for graduation under the ONE HOUR PERIOD basis, in other institutions. Adjournment.

Present: President Hinitt, Professors Crooks, Farwell, Blayney, Smith, Thomas, Cheek, Rainey, Throckmorton, and Clark. Blayney moved (seconded by Rainey) that Faulconer be allowed to proceed to the end of his work in Course B instead of Course C. The motion passed.
Throckmorton moved that drawing to the extent of three (3) hours for one term be allowed for the B.A. degree; and that no credit be given for shop work in the same degree. The motion passed. Adjournment.

Agreed that Macafee be allowed to drop his work in Physics and to proceed with fourteen hours work.

It was ordered that the Athletic Committee post the names of all the men intending to leave on athletic trips, and that this be done sometime before each game.
College work on Saturday mornings to proceed to 12:15, thereby consuming the regular chapel period.
Professor asked to give special attention to the work of all Freshmen during the year; instructors urged to give Professor Crooks frequent reports on men who may fall below grade. Adjournment.

Agreed that the regular members of the Basketball squad be allow to absent themselves from the college during a portion of the forthcoming examination week, covering the dates of December 18, 19, 20th.
Vivien allowed to substitute Biology for 2nd Physics or 1st Chemistry.
The work of Mr. Lyons was discussed and the matter of final adjustment left with the President.
The Constitution of the Students' Council was read and approved, after slight alterations suggested by Prof. Throckmorton.
Watson's absences removed on account of illness. Adjournment.

The following resolution was presented by Dr. Hinitt
The Faculty of Central University being in session, unanimously passed the following:
"Reserved, that all athletic relations of Central University of Kentucky with State University of Kentucky be suspended, and that the managers of all athletic teams of Central University be directed to make no contracts with the manager of any athletic teams of State University of Kentucky."
Schedule of examinations to begin on Friday the 16th and extend to noon on Wednesday, the twenty first. Adjournment.
