Present: Dean Redd; Professors Thomas, Blayney, Cheek, Smith, Rainey, Crooks, Throckmorton and Clark.
The Dean called for remarks from the faculty concerning the men who were removed from the college at our last meeting, April 29th. The case of Mr. Hord Sharp was re-opened. It was the opinion of the faculty that one absence recorded against Mr. Sharp on account of failure to report his class card at the first meeting of a class should be removed. A motion to that effect prevailed, and Mr. Sharp was re-instated with the understanding that he be informed that all work must be made up (including work in German) at the earliest possible time; that one further unexcused absence would insure his suspension from the college. Dean Redd was requested to communicate the action to Mr. Sharp.
