Faculty met at Prof. Fales; the standing of each student inquired into, and determined by the Faculty to meet 1st & 3rd Friday in each month, as was the custom a year or two ago. Several points discussed but nothing decisive effected. Adjourned.

Faculty met at Dr. Young's. Committee of the Senior Class, viz Messers. Godsey, Price and Turner, asked that the examinations be held a week sooner than according to the catalogue so that the speakers might have time to prepare speeches for Commencement. The request was granted. Also moved and carried that no student would be allowed to speak class-day who had not completed studies for a two years' certificate. This law to be in force after this session. Profs. Fales, Cheek, and Redd appointed to draw up in writing by the beginning of the next session a paper setting forth the laws regulating class-day exercises. The question to be then discussed and settled. The above at the motion of Gov. Knott. Moved by Dr. McKee that a committee be appointed to arrange a schedule of studies, to determine what shall be required studies, also what and when the elective studies shall be.

Faculty met to hear the excuses of the students for absences. Moved and carried that the secretary write to Mr. Monfort summoning him to appear before the Faculty. William J. Price was chosen Valedictorian. Adjourned.

Faculty met to hear the excuses of the students for absences. Inasmuch as Mr. Monfort failed to appear before the Faculty, he was suspended and the Vice President was requested to write to his father, desiring that Mr. Monfort be taken from College.

Faculty met to hear Mr. Monfort's defense.
He stated that he really had no excuse, and appealed to the leniency of the Faculty. He claims there were conflicts in some cases, and at other times there were no recitations.
Moved and carried to reconsider the suspension of Mr. Monfort. Dr. McKee and Prof. Hubbard even appointed to draw up a paper, which Mr. Monfort had to sign at once. This paper with Mr. Monfort's signature to be reported to the Faculty May 25th.

Faculty met to hear the report of Committee, Prof. McKee and Hubbard, in reference to Mr. Monfort. The pledge and promises implied in the paper with Mr. Monfort's signature was accepted. Moved and carried that the papers be read before the College at chapel. Profs. Fales and Cheek were appointed to prepare report for the Board of Trustee.

Faculty met to consider the Senior Class as to graduation. The Ormond Beatty Prize was divided among Price, Cook, and Turner of the Senior class.
Profs. Hubbard and Cheek were appointed to prepare the programs for Commencement Day.

Faculty met to sign the diplomas. Moved and recorded that the name of R. T. Morris be suggested to the Board for the honorary degree of A.M. Also the names of Prof. Henry T. Eddy for the degree of LL.D. Supplemental report by the Faculty to be prepared by Prof. Fales. Boyle Prize for watch awarded to W. H. McClure of Frankfort, Ky.
Voted that in view of the petition of the editorial board of the Cento requesting that we appoint two additional member of said Board for communicated reasons, and in view further of the fact that such action on our part is represented as the unanimous wish of the Deinologian and Chamberlain Literary Societies, we grant the request, and do hereby appoint as additional members of the Cento Board for the ensuing year H. C. Buell and J. L. Allen, as requested.

Faculty met at Prof. Fales to arrange the scheme of study for the coming term (1892-93). After some labor and conference it was concluded expedient to meet again the 12th (Monday), to adjust the scheme of study.
Moved and carried by the Faculty as follows:
- To excuse from the regular examinations any student who received the grade of 90 in each and every department of study; number of unexcused absences not exceeding four.
- No student shall be allowed to speak on class-day except candidates for degrees.
- No student belonging to the Base Ball or to the Foot Ball team shall be allowed to play or take part in any athletic contest, who is below an average standing in his studies.
- Absolutely forbidden to the students to play on Tennis or Athletic grounds before one o'clock a.m.
- Faculty to meet every 2nd week.

Faculty met to complete the classification of students. Moved and carried that a committee be appointed to take into consideration and review the whole matter of the conditions of entrance and standing in the Classical, Scientific and Elective courses. Professor Cheek and Hubbard were appointed. The following were appointed to look into the sanitary condition of Breckinridge Hall and the Old College building. Professor Hubbard and Redd to inspect the condition of the fences; Professor Nelson & Cheek to look after the latter.

Faculty met with the latest arrivals of students for the purpose of classification. Mr. Monfort present, but his case was referred till the afternoon, when it was decided that he was already reinstated in College, and no further step was considered advisable.
Moved and carried, that for every unexcused absence, the term grade should be reduced two units, unless satisfactory reasons be offered to the Faculty.

Faculty met at Dr. Young's and it was at once moved and carried that a note of thanks be returned to Mrs. Scott of Lexington for a picture of Dr. Green, one of the former presidents of the College.
It was also thought expedient to give the students holiday on Columbus Day the 22nd of the current month. Moved and carried that no athletic contests should be played with other Colleges unless agreed upon beforehand by the Faculty.
The schedule of athletics suggested [by] Prof. Berry, the instructor in athletics, was adopted, and ordered to be bulletined.
It was also decided that the gymnasium be opened at 3 p.m. daily.

The Faculty met to hear a report with regard to the recent disturbance in Breckinridge Hall.
First decided to meet the following Tuesday (27th) to make out reports of the past term.
After carefully listening to the report, which lasted for forty or fifty minutes, it was the consensus of opinion that the cumulative evidence was against one or two students, while it was not positively conclusive. Consequently, it was moved and seconded that the Vice President make some investigation, if possible, search out the guilty students and have them before the Faculty. As things are going on in the Breckinridge Hall, they are disturbing the Institution. Motion prevailed.
Moved and seconded that Dr. McKee see Wickliffe personally and report the case to the Faculty at the next meeting. Prevailed, moved, and seconded that the acting President inform Beckner that from his past conduct he must remain at home after Christmas. Else the Faculty will request his father to withdraw him immediately on his return. Prevailed. Moved that all matters of control of the Breckinridge Building be laid upon the table till Dr. Young returns. Prevailed Moved and carried that the bills be paid Prof. Hubbard for all expenses in his classroom.
